Meet the Captain
Growing up on Cape Cod till he was ten years old, Capt. George spent his childhood fishing with his dad targeting Striped Bass, Bluefish, Fluke and did a lot of clamming. Moving down to Florida at an early age he spent a lot of time freshwater fishing the lakes in his and nearby developments. George got his first boat at the age of fifteen and fell in love with backcountry fishing targeting Snook, Trout, Redfish and Tarpon. During the summers while off for school break he worked for his dad sanding and painting boat bottoms and cleaning up shop.
When he turned seventeen he got a job as a mate working for a marine towing company that allowed him to get his captains license at the age of eighteen. While working as a tow captain, he met the captain of a sportfishing boat, a 65 hatteras, he got his dream job at the age of nineteen. The job took him to great places such as the Bahamas, Key West, the New England tour, Connecticut and Nantucket. In New England he got to experience canyon fishing, some of the best fishing he has ever done. Yellowfin Tuna, Albacore, Mako, White Marlin, Dolphin also they did a lot of inshore fishing there Striped Bass, Bluefish, Black Sea Bass, Fluke, Cod, Haddock, the list goes on. From there his career took off.


After being a mate on a couple traveling sport boats he got employed as captain on private sport boats. Captain George has fished from the BVI's to New England chasing Billfish, Tuna and much more. In his mid thirties, he decided to put the traveling behind him and stay local to South Florida running charter dive and fishing boats. His last employment was on a F/V called the "Mad Son" Where he spent a couple years working it as captain/mate before he bought the company and ran it for many years. During that time he was the action spotter for Palm Beach on ESPN FM radio Florida Sportsman live every saturday morning, giving weekly fishing reports and tips to the listeners.
Captain George sold the business to become a full time caregiver to his sick father who passed away in 2022. Now he's back at it, ready to take on the water once again. With his two boats he is equipped to take on any type of fishing that South Florida has to offer!
